NORTH MANCHESTER, IND. – D3Hoops.com No. 11-ranked UW-Oshkosh used a juggernaut offensive and defensive juggernaut to claim the 2017 Main View Tip-Off championship Saturday, Nov. 18.

The Titans raced out to a 26-7 lead after one period on host Manchester University and rolled on to a 95-27 victory inside Stauffer-Wolfe Arena. MU, dipping to 1-1, received nine points from sophomore guard Nicole Weaver Fort Wayne, Ind.) to wind up a 24-point weekend, while junior forward/center Beth Schaefer (Fort Wayne, Ind.) finished with seven points and one rebound, one assist, one steal and one blocked shot.

Despite the defeat, the Spartans did receive good news post-game. Schaefer was named to the all-tournament team after 19 points, nine rebounds, two steals, two assists and a blocked shot.

Manchester University returns to action with a Thanksgiving Eve matinee at Muskingum University. Tip-off is 3 p.m. at the Steele Center.
