St. Louis, Mo. - After already breaking Fontbonne's single-game, single-season and career assist records this year, women's basketball senior Emmie Haring achieved another milestone. Last night the Ballwin, Mo. native became the St. Louis Interollegiate Athletic Conference's all-time assist leader.

Haring, who entered the game with 540 career assists needed just two assists to break the 541 career mark, set by Lisa Pliskin of Blackburn in 1994.

Haring who averaged 8.0 assists per game before the Griffins' dominating performance against Greenville College, recorded just one assist in the first quarter. Her record-breaking assist was a beauty in the second quarter. Haring, from the top of the key, slipped a bounce pass down the right side of the lane to freshman Raven Venegas who finished with the layup. Haring also tallied 19 points and eight rebounds in the win.

Haring would finish the game with six assists for 546 career assists. She is first in NCAA Division III players for assists in the season and is second among active players for career assists. After her performance last night, Haring has 165 assists this year and averages 7.9 APG.
