Robertson Has Career Game For Pipers

Ivannie Robertson is leading the Hamline women's basketball team in field goal percentage, connecting at a .529 clip. On Saturday, she showed why. Robertson scored a career high 14 points on 6-for-10 shooting from the field in the Pipers' 92-49 loss to Bethel at Hutton Arena. Chloe Graves inched closer to the 1,000 career point mark with 12 as  the Pipers dropped to 3-3 overall, 0-2 in the MIAC. 

The game started well. Hamline rallied from an early five-point deficit to tie the game at 15 in the first quarter. BU forged ahead by 23-20 after 10 minutes and then exploded for a 33-5 second quarter advantage. In all, the red-hot Royals shot 70 per cent in the first half. Hamline got excellent rebound efforts from Reilly Geistfeld, who led the team with seven and Morgen Coleman, who added six. Graves added four assists and now has 282 for her HU career. She ranks second all time. She now has 949 points as a Piper.

This was the Hamline's third game in six days.  

HU stays at Hutton next Wednesday, December 7 to welcome St. Thomas for a 7:00 p.m. tipoff. The final game before the holiday break is at Carleton on Saturday, Dec. 10. That game will begin at 1:00 p.m.
