The women's basketball team cruised to their second victory Friday night at CUNYAC foe CCNY, 83-64.

The Bearcats played well on both sides of the floor, with the defense holding CCNY to 38.7% shooting, and the offense connecting on over half of their shots with four players totaling at least 10 points.

Jacqueline Kennedy led the way for visiting Bearcats with 23 points, eight rebounds, and three steals on an efficient 9-of-13 shots from the field. That makes it Kennedy's third game of 20 or more points in the team's opening six games.

Veronica Ganzi had a great game as well with 20 points to go along with four assists and two steals.

Shannon Barrett had a 17 point, 13 rebound, four assist effort. It was her third double-digit rebounding effort of the season.

The Bearcats also received solid contributions from
Kristen Podlovits (12 points, four assists) and Daniela Arias(nine points, nine assists).

Baruch controlled the game from the opening quarter, with CCNY unable to make shots, despite winning the rebounding battle, 37-30. Debra Chan led the Beavers in scoring off the bench with 13 points.
