DUDLEY, Mass. – Senior Taylor Daniels (Dudley, Mass.) scored a game-high 24 points in Nichols College's 76-49 loss at WPI Tuesday night in non-conference women's basketball action at Harrington Auditorium.

Sophomore Callie Andrews (Southbridge, Mass.) added a career-high 12 points in 31 minutes for the Bison, who shot 22 percent from the floor (13-of-59).

Junior Ama Biney (Worcester, Mass.) scored 19 points (9-of-12 FG) and hauled in eight rebounds for the Engineers. Classmates Madison Beck (Syracuse, N.Y.) netted 11 points and fellow senior Stasha Greenalch (Newington, Conn.) tallied nine.

The Engineers – who shot 57 percent from the field (31-of-55) – led by 11 after one and 43-25 at halftime. Biney paced WPI with nine while Daniels led all scorers in the first half with 15. The Engineers outscored the Bison 29-7 to open up a 72-32 lead after three before the Bison outscored the home team 17-4 in the fourth.

All-Time Series
Tonight's contest marks the 29th all-time meeting between WPI and Nichols College. The Engineers have won 14 of the last 15 meetings and now lead the series, 23-6.
