LISLE, Ill. - The Benedictine University women's basketball team dropped a tight conference contest to Concordia University Chicago at the buzzer on Wednesday night.

Leading by seven points at 59-52 with 3:37 remaining, Benedictine did not score again as a desperation heave three-pointer on a deflection at the buzzer handed the visitors the win to cap a 9-0 run
The contest featured a pair of ties and seven lead changes with neither side leading by more than seven points
Benedictine led for the entire opening 10 minutes, grabbing a 16-10 advantage on a three from Peyton Sims with 2:09 to play in the frame
The visitors jumped ahead for the first time on a pair of free throws with 2:17 left in the first half
