How It Happened
- The Owls opened up with a 10-4 lead after four minutes of play, but the Ravens would outscore the home side 15-2 to take a seven-point lead after the first quarter.
- Bryn Mawr would sneak to within six points with Rosemont ahead 26-20 with 6:19 left in the half, but the Ravens would again pull away with a 7-0 run to grab a 33-20 lead with 2:34 left in the half. A jumper from Leilani Naone-Carter would give Rosemont their then-largest lead of the game, 15 points, leading 37-22 with less than a minute left in the second quarter. The Ravens would carry a 37-25 lead into the locker room.
- The Owls would outscore Rosemont 11-4 to sneak to within 41-36 midway through the 3rdquarter. The Ravens would rally to get back in front by 10 after an Alliya Austin layup with 3:33 left, but Bryn Mawr would again put together a surge to get to within five points, 46-41 with a minute left in the quarter. The Ravens would be outscored 18-12 in the quarter to go into the final period ahead by a score of 49-43.
- Bryn Mawr kept up their momentum to open the final quarter with a 7-0 run to grab their first lead since the first quarter, 50-49 with 7:20 on the clock. The Ravens would respond immediately on a timely layup from Naone-Carter to start a 17-0 run that would put the game away for Rosemont.
Ravens' Top Performers
- Leilani Naone-Carter shot 9-for-17 from the field for 18 points. She nailed a double-double with 12 rebounds on the night.
- Carly Hislop scored 15 points, with teammates Jasmyn Parker and Alliya Austin each adding 12 to account for the Ravens hitting double-digits in scoring.
- Brianna Macauley had a strong night in the post with 12 rebounds to go with her eight points.
For the Owls
- Erica Dwyer hit three from long-distance and scored 18 points to lead Bryn Mawr
- Cleo Elizabeth-Rober scored 10 with 10 rebounds to earn a double-double.
- Elizabeth Chan tallied 11 with eight rebounds.
Stats of the Game
- The Ravens had 10 more shots from the field (74 vs. 64) and 14 more shots from the charity stripe (25 vs. 11).
- The Ravens scored 20 points at the foul line, 12 more than Bryn Mawr.
- Rosemont made good on their free throw opportunities, sinking 80% (20-for-25).
- The Ravens had 14 assists compared to nine for the Owls.
