2) Western New England sophomore Dorothy O'Neill (Staten Island, N.Y.) – filled the stat sheet with 10 points, seven assists, and five rebounds
3) Nichols sophomore Allison Cerrato (Rockland, Mass.) – scored a team-high 13 points and grabbed seven rebounds; also notched three steals
The Golden Bears shot 46 percent from the floor and collected assists on 21 of their 29 field goals to defeat the Bison 79-51 in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action. Brito and classmate Allison Mishol (Longmeadow, Mass.) led four student-athletes in double figures with 13 points apiece.

Turning Point
Western New England opened the third quarter on a 22-0 run to turn a five-point halftime lead (42-37) in a 64-37 lead. Senior Chelsea Vujs (Berlin, Conn.) sparked the run with seven points. A free throw from junior Taylor Daniels (Dudley, Mass.) with 24 seconds left in the quarter snapped the run.
