NORTH MANCHESTER, IND. – Sophomore forward Tori Christlieb (Culver, Ind.) registered her second double-double in the last three games, leading Manchester University to its third win of the season Tuesday, Dec. 15.
Christlieb, who had the hot hand throughout the evening inside Stauffer-Wolfe Arena, hit 10-of-14 field goal attempts including her first four tries in route to a personal single-game high 21 points. She also proved tough for the visiting Kalamazoo College Hornets to keep off the glass, as she corralled three offensive and seven defensive boards for 10 total.
Behind Christlieb's play as part of a balanced scoring column, the Black and Gold (3-4) zoomed out to a 15-6 lead just over seven minutes in and didn't look back in route to a 61-45 decision. Junior guard Jenifer Lee (Rockville, Ind.) came off the bench to post seven points, due to a strong five-of-six effort from the charity stripe, while senior guard Justine Kruger (Francisville, Ind.) turned in six points, nine rebounds, five assists and two steals, and freshman forward/center Maddy Minehart (Auburn, Ind.) tallied six points and seven rebounds.
