PASADENA — Kendahl Wallis-Lang led the game with 11 points and seven rebounds, Ciara Byrneadded 10 points and six boards and the Occidental women's basketball team crushed Illinois Tech 75-18 at Caltech on Saturday.

Oxy's bench scored 49 points led by nine from Nicole Pelletier and seven from Paige Waters. Micaela Clayton added six points and three assists.

The Tiges outrebounded Illinois Tech 51-41 and forced 29 turnovers. 

Oxy played all 13 suited players at least 12 minutes in the victory.

Season Impact: After starting the year 0-4, including two heartbreaking one-point losses and a two-point loss, the Tigers win their second game in a row, improving to 2-4 on the year. They have won their last two games by a combined 65 points with a 13-point victory in their last game over UC Merced on Friday.

Illinois Tech falls to 0-4.
