Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn College Women's Basketball Team won their 10th straight game on Friday evening, downing CUNYAC foe Medgar Evers, 72-25, to improve to 18-5, 14-1 CUNYAC, on the season.
The Bulldogs were led by Nicole Francomano and Nacirema Mann. Francomano scored 11 points and dished out five assists, while also nabbing five steals in 14 minutes of play, while Mann scored 10 points and pulled down four boards off the bench.
Senior Jaclyn Grasso had a team-high of six assists while also matching Francomano's five steals. Justine Vento gave BC a spark off the bench, hitting on 3-5 from behind the arc for nine points. Chrissy Heyer chipped in with nine as well, while dishing out three assists.
Megan Campbell had a game-high three blocked shots for Brooklyn.
Up next for BC will be Baruch College on Tuesday at 5 pm. Before the contest, the team will honor the team's seven seniors, Nicole Francomano, Sarah Shanderson, Asia Foster, Vanessa D'Ambrosi, Jaclyn Grasso, Nacirema Mann and Megan Campbell.
