Freshman guard Jackie Rodriguez (Sayreville, N.J./Sayreville War Memorial) led the Pioneers in scoring for the second straight game with 17 points while also dishing out four assists.

The Pioneers led for all but 58 seconds of the first half, but could not open up a margin of more than seven (15-8, 10:40) before possessing a narrow 29-26 halftime edge. A two-point advantage 72 seconds into the second period quickly expanded to 16 when WP reeled off 14 unanswered points (44-28, 11:57), and when the Roadrunners briefly got back to within single digits at 56-47 with 4:08 on the clock, Luberto drained a three-pointer to ignite an 11-2 game-ending burst.

The Pioneers caused twice as many turnovers as they committed (25-12), taking advantage for a 27-14 scoring advantage off the miscues.

Junior center Grace Elliott was Ramapo's leading scorer with nine points. Freshman guard Jina Crawford added six tallies to her eight rebounds.

William Paterson will play at Rutgers-Camden Saturday, Jan. 24, at 4:00 p.m.
