GREENVILLE, Pa. – Jaclyn Watkins and Erin DiFalco combined for 34 points Saturday, leading the Tomcats to a 66-61 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) overtime victory over the Westminster Titans.
The contest was tied at halftime and at the end of regulation after Jenna Grandy hit a three-pointer with just four seconds remaining.
After Grandy put the Titans up by a trio early in overtime on a three-pointer, the Tomcats responded with three-pointers from Kayla Welty and DiFalco to take a 59-56 lead, which they would not relinquish.
Watkins led the Tomcats with 20 points to go along with seven rebounds, four blocks and three assists. DiFalco scored 14 points, 12 of which came from beyond the three-point line. Taylor Duchon also added eight points.
Grandy led the Titans with 20 points, 12 of which were from three-point range, while Allison Borts scored 18 points.
The Tomcats, winners of two straight PAC games, will return to action Wednesday when they travel to Waynesburg, Pa. to take on the Yellow Jackets at 5:30 p.m.
