No. 6-ranked St. Thomas (9-0) got scoring from 12 different players, led by Jenna Dockter's 16 points, in Monday's 73-41 women's basketball win over Manchester (Ind.) at the Carthage tournament in Kenosha, Wis.
The Tommies, who shot 55 percent from the field and recorded a 36-25 advantage in rebounds, will play Tuesday in the championship game against Carthage College, an 86-42 winner over St. Mary's (Ind.).
St. Thomas posted a 33-15 margin in bench scoring. Freshman guard Maddie Wolkow scored 12 points off the bench-- a collegiate high -- all in the second half.
Maggie Weiers added nine points and seven boards and now has 701 career rebounds. Anna Smith had a game-high eight rebounds, and Katie Stone and Alyssa Favilla each had eight points.
