The Anchorwomen led, 8-2, at 11:19 after Andrade connected on a jump shot. The Fords responded with a 9-0 run, keyed by a three-pointer and a pair of free throws by senior guard Hope Rainey (Richmond, VA), to go up 11-8 with 8:13 left in the first half. |

The lead went back and forth until the final moments of the first stanza when layups by sophomore guard Michelle Lagrotteria (Niantic, CT) and Prusko sent RIC into halftime up by three, 25-22. |

Five points from Paladino in the early part of the second staked the visitors to a five point, 32-27 advantage at 17:14. A Prusko trifecta gave RIC a seven point lead, 35-28, with 13 minutes left to play, but the Fords responded with a 21-6 run over the next 10 minutes to go up by eight, 49-41 with 1:14 left. |
