(BETHANY, W.Va.) – Thomas More College sophomore guard/forward Sydney Moss (St. Albans, W.Va./Boone County (Ky.)) and junior forward Jenny Burgoyne (Cincinnati, Ohio/McAuley) combined for 55 points as the fourth-ranked Saints defeated Bethany College, 108-59, tonight (Wednesday, February 19, 2014) in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) game at Hummel Field House in Bethany, West Virginia.

With the win, the Saints improve to 24-0 overall and 17-0 in the PAC as they clinch the PAC regular-season out-right for the seventh-straight year.  Thomas More has won at least a share of the PAC regular season nine-straight years as it was co-champions the previous two years before the seven-year streak.  It was the second-straight game and eighth overall this season that the Saints have crossed the century mark in a game.  With the loss, the Bison fall to 7-17 overall and 6-11 in the PAC.

Thomas More shot 64.1 percent from the field (25-39), including 50 percent from behind the three-point arc (three-of-six) in the first half and forced 12 Bison turnovers to build a 58-24 lead at halftime.  Moss had 22 points and 11 rebounds in the first half.

The Saints out-scored Bethany 50-35 in the second half to win the game 108-59.  For the game, the Saints out-scored the Bison 62-14 in the paint and 22-9 on points off turnovers.  Thomas More finished the game shooting 62.7 percent from the field (47-of-75).

Moss finished the game with a game-high 33 points and 16 rebounds to record her 10^th double-double of the season.  Burgoyne had 22 points in the game to reach double-figure scoring for the fourth straight game and 22^nd time this season.  Also reaching double-figure scoring was sophomore forward Alexa Santamaria (Cincinnati, Ohio/Mount Notre Dame) with a career-high 19 points and sophomore guard Olivia Huber (Woodlawn, Ky./Newport Central Catholic) with a career-high 12 points.  Senior guard Devin Beasley (Burlington, Ky./Conner) led the team in assists with 10, while junior guard Stephanie Krusling (Cincinnati, Ohio/McNicholas) led the team in steals with three.

The Saints will close-out the regular-season on Saturday (February 22) when they host Saint Vincent College on Senior Day at the Connor Convocation Center in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.  Tip-off is scheduled for 1 p.m.
