Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn College Women's Basketball Team used a 44 point first half to take a 24-point lead into the locker room, as they won 67-43 on Senior Night in front of a packed house at West Quad. Brooklyn improves to 19-6, 12-4 CUNYAC on the season, while John Jay falls to 9-16, 6-10 CUNYAC.

The Bulldogs led wire-to-wire as the home team never trailed in the game. Brooklyn jumped out to a 10-point advantage, 16-6, through the first six minutes of the ballgame. BC would lead by double figures the rest of the way, as the Bulldogs stingy defense held the Bloodhounds to just 28.8% (19-for-66) from the field, including just 25.0% (1-for-4) from three. John Jay also struggled from the line, going 4-for-10 (40.0%) from the stripe.

Prior to the start of the game, seniors Allison DonovanZoe Randolph and Megan Campbell were all honored as part of Senior Night celebrations.

Campbell notched 15 points and nine rebounds in the win for BC, while junior Nicole Francomano recorded a double-double with 10 points and 10 assists. Juniors Asia Foster and Sarah Shanderson each added eight points, while Donovan and juniors Nacirema Mann and Carissa Williams all chipped in with six points.

For the game, the Bulldogs shot 45.2% (28-for-62) from the field and 40.0% (6-for-15) from three.

Jamecia Forsythe finished the game with 17 points and seven rebounds for John Jay.

The teams will square off again this Sunday, February 23rd, as the #3 seeded Bulldogs will host the #6 seeded Bloodhounds in the quarterfinals round of the CUNYAC Championships. The game is scheduled for a 1:00 pm start time.
