Brooklyn, NY---Megan Campbell scored her 1,000th career point on a jumper with 11:01 remaining in the first half of play on Saturday, giving her team an early 16-4 lead that they would build on throughout the contest to claim their 18th win of the year. The Bulldogs overall record improves to 18-6, while they up their mark to 11-4 in league play. York falls to 3-21, 2-13 CUNYAC.

Campbell finished with 14 points, 11 boards and four blocks to lead four BC players in double figures on the afternoon. Senior Allison Donovan, in her first start of the season, scored 14 points while converting on four of eight from three-point range.

Carissa Williams led all scorers with 17 points on 7-13 from the field, while Nacirema Mann filled up the stat sheet with 14 points, seven boards, five steals and four assists.

Maybe the most impressive performance of all came from point guard Nicole Francomano who had a game-high 13 assists, 0 turnovers and four points on 2-2 from the field. The junior also chipped in four steals.

York was led by Danielle Dunn's 15 points.

"Today we played really well at times," said Head Coach Alex Lang. We passed the ball well and shot it well, and if we do those things, and defend & rebound the way we are capable, we can go a long way in the postseason."

"It was also great to see Megan continue her outstanding play and get her 1,000th here at home," Coach Lang said of Campbell's achievement. Campbell, a transfer, saw time at Lackawanna and Seton Hill before transferring to BC.

Up next for the Bulldogs will be a battle with John Jay, this Tuesday, February 18th at West Quad. The evening will be senior night, with tip-off scheduled for 5 pm. Brooklyn will face John Jay consecutively on Tuesday and Sunday, as the Bloodhounds will be BC's first round opponent in the upcoming CUNYAC Championship Tournament. Brooklyn, the #3 seed will host the #6 seeded John Jay.
