The Lightning (13-9, 7-6 CUNYAC) lit up the scoreboard by shooting 8-of-12 from 3-point range and 25-of-28 from the free throw line to earn the CUNYAC victory in front of a festive and decorated crowd.

They did jump out to a nine point lead midway through the first half, but the Lightning came back to take a five point lead (48-43) at halftime behind their successful long-range shooting.
