Cresson, PA - The Mount Aloysius women's basketball team pushed their winning streak to seven with a 78-60 victory over Medaille College in AMCC action on Saturday afternoon.

Becky Bard led the charge with 25 points on 11-for-18 shooting. Abbie Zinobile was effective with 18 points, including two three-point shots, and nine rebounds. Lindsy Sammarco had another great all-around effort with 15 points, 11 rebounds, three assists and three steals. Ali Maruca also finished in double figures with 10 points off the bench.

The Mounties limited the visiting Mavericks to 32.8% shooting on the day and forced 16 turnovers. They jumped out to a 38-27 halftime lead and led by as much as 31 with 5:18 to play in the game.

The win reverses a 71-58 loss to Medaille on January 4th, and pushes the Mount to 8-3 in conference play and 10-6 overall.

Mount Aloysius returns to action on Monday with their final non-conference matchup of the season at Frostburg State at 7 p.m.
