GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College women's basketball team suffered its first Presidents' Athletic Conference defeat of the season Saturday in a 73-33 loss to Washington & Jefferson.
 
Beka Bellhy scored a game-high 22 points for the Presidents. Valerie Dunlap (16) and Chelsea Apke (15) also reached double digits in scoring for W&J.
 
Sophomore forward Jaclyn Watkins (Aliquippa, Pa./Aliquippa) paced the Tomcats with 13 points while adding seven rebounds. Hannah Stoneman (Sugarcreek, Ohio/Hiland), another sophomore forward, led Thiel with a game-best nine boards.
 
The Tomcats (2-5, 1-1 PAC) will return to action Saturday when they hit to road to take on Hiram. Tipoff is slated for 1 p.m.
