After trading baskets and layups by Erin Howard (Tolland, Conn./East Catholic) and Wilson, Miller gave the Rangers their first lead by hitting a three with 13:02 to play in the contest. New England recaptured the lead a minute later but it would last as sophomore Courtney Stephens (Pikesville, Md./Gerstell Academy) made a layup on the ensuing possession.

The Rangers did not give up the lead for the remainder of the contest in a very fast-paced finish. Drew was able to outscore New England 44-26 in the final period. The Rangers were lights out in the second half, shooting 50 percent from the floor including a 5-for-7 effort from the 3-point line.

The Drew defense was able to force 31 Pilgrim turnovers and came up with a total of 17 steals. New England's Taylor Burgess led all scorers in the game with 18 points. The junior finished one rebound short of the double-double.
