Megan Dawe scored all 17 of her points in the second half to lead the New York University women's basketball team to a come-from-behind 67-59 victory over 13th-ranked Washington University on Friday, Feb. 15, at the Coles Sports Center in Manhattan.

As Dawe took over offensively, the Violets' (9-14, 2-10) defense shut down the Bears (18-5, 8-4). NYU held Washington to just 26 second-half points on 11-38 (28.9%) shooting. The Violets, meanwhile, shot a scorching 13-20 (65.0%) in the second period, led by Dawe, who went 7-8 from the field en route to her game-high 17 points.

The victory snapped NYU's 12-game losing streak against the Bears, which dated back to a meeting in the 2006-07 Final Four.
