Sophomore Erica Pendrak (Utica, NY/New York Mills) scored 14 points with a career-high nine rebounds as the Keuka College women's basketball team picked up its ninth straight conference win, 71-46 over Wilson College Saturday afternoon inside the Weed Physical Arts Center.

Pendrak was one of four student-athletes to score in double figures. Pendrak was joined by sophomore Brittany Hadley (Jasper, NY/Jasper-Troupsburg), who scored 13 points with four rebounds, senior Mariah Mouzon (Elmira, NY/Elmira Free Academy), who scored 10 points with eight rebounds, and junior Danielle Gravel (Sidney, NY/Sidney), who scored 10 points.

Pendrak (6-for-12) and Gravel (4-for-8) each shot 50 percent for Keuka (15-2, 12-1 North Eastern Athletic Conference), which shot 50 percent (13-for-26) in the first half en route to a 38-23 halftime lead.

Sophomore Amanda Kubitz (Spencerport, NY/E.J. Wilson) added eight points and seven rebounds while junior Taylor Szwec (Candor, NY/Candor) had 8 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists for the Storm.

Keuka enjoyed a 60-29 edge rebounding, including 23-10 on the offensive glass. The Phoenix (2-14, 0-13) shot just 26.6 percent (17-for-64), including going 9-for-39 in the first half.

The Storm led 16-14 midway through the opening half before going on a 10-0 run. Pendrak made three layups while Szwec had a lay-in and a pair of free throws during the run.

As time was expiring in the first half, Pendrak collected a rebound and swished a '3' from the top of the key to put Keuka ahead by 15 entering halftime.

Gravel's fast-break layup with 13:24 remaining capped a 13-4 run and gave Keuka a 54-31 lead, and the Storm maintained a comfortable lead over the remainder of the game to remain in first place in the NEAC North.

The Green and Gold's men's and women's basketball teams return to action with home games Sunday against Penn State-Abington.
