BC Women Cruise To Sixth Straight Win, 84-26, Over Medgar Evers

Brooklyn, NY---The Brooklyn College Women's Basketball Team never trailed in their conference game against Medgar Evers, going on to take a 51-16 lead at the half and the 84-26 win at home on Wednesday night.  The win was the Bulldogs' sixth straight, bringing their record to 15-5, 9-2 CUNYAC.

Brooklyn's defense dominated, as they held the Cougars to just under 23% from the field and came up with 21 steals on the evening.  Meanwhile offensively, BC shot 45% from the field and 80% from the line, while dishing out 27 assists as a team on 34 buckets.

All 12 BC players that suited up scored at least two points and pulled down two or more boards.  Vanessa D'Ambrosi led the way with 11 points, five assists and four steals in only 14 minutes of play.  Karolina Gorna came off the BC bench with eight points and a game-high 11 boards.

Reserve guards Zoe Randolph and Sarah Shanderson each scored 10 points while Shanderson also dished out four assists.

Jaclyn Grasso also came off the bench to dish out five assists, while Allison Donovan added seven points and three assists. Asia Foster came up big as well with seven points and six boards. 

The Cougars were led by Imani Mason's 13 points.

Brooklyn will be back in action on Friday as they head up to the Bronx to take on conference rival Lehman College at 5 pm.
