Stout defeated Superior, 79-68, when the teams met in Menomonie in December, but the Yellowjackets have tasted life at the top of the WIAC food chain lately and worked to stay there. Superior had three players in double digits with Kristen Nett leading the way with 16 points. Hillary Peterson had 15 points and Sally Linzmeier finished with 12 points.

Katelynne Folkers (So, Fall Creek) led Stout with 11 points and Brea Boomer (So, Grand Portage, Minn) finished with 10 points.

The Yellowjackets held a distinct advantage off the glass, pulling down 58 boards to Stout's 37.  The Blue Devils did force 37 Superior turnovers, making 28 steals. Stout finished with 28 turnovers.

The Blue Devils will host UW-Platteville, Saturday, Feb. 2 at 6 p.m. for alumni day.
