Geena Sneeringer and Alicia Kimmel scored 21 points apiece and the Pitt-Bradford women's basketball team rolled to its most impressive road win of the season Saturday, defeating Pitt-Greensburg 63-45.

The Bobcats entered the day having won two straight, including a road victory over Penn State Behrend last Saturday, yet they were no match for the Panthers.

Pitt-Bradford limited the Bobcats to 28 percent shooting from the floor and held a commanding 46-31 advantage on the boards. Pitt-Greensburg particularly struggled from beyond the arc, hitting just 2-12 attempts.

To compound matters, the Bobcats had no answer for the duo of Sneeringer and Kimmel, who combined to go 16-23 from the field and 10-11 from the free throw line.

Pitt-Bradford led 24-18 at the break after holding the Bobcats to just two made field goals over the final 14 minutes of the half.

The Panthers quickly began to pull away in the second half, outscoring Pitt-Greensburg 21-7 over the first 10 minutes to build a 20-point lead, and never looked back.

Pitt-Bradford shot 43 percent from the field and went 16-18 from the charity stripe. The women outscored the Bobcats by eight in the paint and totaled 12 second-chance points to help overcome 24 turnovers.

Kimmel finished a rebound shy of a double-double while adding five assists and Sneeringer added four dimes. Allison Osborne chipped in with nine points and nine rebounds and Abby Brate added eight points.

Pitt-Bradford improves to 9-8 on the season and 7-4 in the AMCC. The Panthers travel to D'Youville Wednesday.
