Baruch Routs Hunter (58-41), Team Stays Undefeated in CUNYAC at 9-0

The Baruch College Bearcatscontinued their winning ways with a 58-41 CUNYAC home victory over rival Hunter College on Wednesday night in the ARC Arena.

The visiting Hawks tallied the first six points, but the Bearcats scored 34 of the next 41 points to cruise to a 34-13 halftime advantage.

The lead would grow to 27 points (49-22) on a 3-pointer from
Francess Henrywith 9:56 remaining. That was enough to record the home victory to improve to 16-1 overall and a perfect 9-0 in the CUNYAC.

The defense forced the Hawks into committing 24 turnovers.
Iyana Abramstied a career-high with six steals as part of a team total 13 this evening.

Six different players scored at least five points as part of a balanced scoring attack.
Jessica Dulebawas the lone player in double-figures with 12 points and nine rebounds.

Imani Davidsonand Alicea Ulmerscored eight points each, while Sheridan Taylorfinished with seven points.

Baruch will continue their home schedule on Friday, January 25, with a 5:30 pm CUNYAC home contest against John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
