The Lady Mavs traded leads back and forth in the first half before the Lady Mavs took control at the end of the first half. They ended up taking a 32-28 lead into halftime. The Mavs played strong defense in the first half holding the Panthers to (31.3%) shooting from the field and only (16.7%) from behind the arc.

The Lady Mavs (10-5) will host Mount Aloysius on Saturday in another AMCC conference game at 1 p.m. in the Sullivan Center.
