The Bantams carried a 26-23 lead into the break. In the second stanza, Sweeney helped cap a 5-0 run to start the half when she induced a turnover at one end of the court and then drove end-to-end, laying down a perfect bounce pass to Hancock, who converted a hoop with some harm to make it a 31-23 game with 17:30 remaining. The Camels did not go away and with 4:39 remaining, Boyle drove to the hoop for a field goal and one to trim the Bantam lead to 43-41. Brickley cashed in on an offensive rebound with 1:34 left to make it a 45-41 game and the visitors scored the final six points of the contest on the foul line to pull away for the 52-41 triumph. Connecticut College out-rebounded Trinity 41-to-39 but the Bantams scored 24 points at the charity stripe, while limiting the hosts to eight points at the line.
