The Millikin women's basketball team lost at #5 Washington University-St. Louis 71-42 on Dec. 5 in St. Louis, Mo.

          Millikin couldn't shake off the rust of a two week layoff managing to hit only 27 percent of its shots.  Washington University hit on 47 percent of its shots and out rebounded Millikin 54 to 27.

          Bria Williams led Millikin with eight points.  Jasmine Johnson had seven points and five rebounds.  Sydnee Sturdivant grabbed a team high six rebounds.

          Melissa Gilkey led the Bears with 17 points and a team high 12 rebounds.

          Millikin will host the Harriett Crannell Holiday Classic this weekend starting with a Friday, Dec. 7 game with Wisconsin Lutheran College at 7:30 p.m.
