NEW YORK – Junior guard Latoya Lee exploded for 13 points, seven rebounds and three steals in the City College of New York's first City University of New York Athletic Conference contest on Tuesday evening but the Bloodhounds' 51 rebounds led John Jay College (2-2, 1-0 CUNYAC) to a 66-51 victory over the Beavers (0-4, 0-1 CUNYAC) in the Doghouse.

Lee's career-high 13 points nearly doubled her season total of 14 and her seven rebounds and three steals were team-highs while two-time reigning CUNYAC/Con Edison Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week Bria Fisher posted 11 points and five rebounds in 30 minutes of action.

The Beavers defense stifled the Bloodhounds as CCNY forced 19 turnovers and recorded eight steals. City College entered halftime down six, 32-26 after scoring six unanswered points to end the first half.

The Beavers return home for their home opener on Friday, Nov. 30 at 5 PM against Medgar Ever College.
