GREENSBORO, N.C. – Bianca Ygarza's game-high 19 points led Eastern Mennonite University to a 68-56 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) basketball win at Guilford College Saturday.

The victory gave Eastern Mennonite (21-3, 17-3 ODAC) the second seed for next week's ODAC Tournament in Salem, Va. Guilford (19-6, 16-4 ODAC), which had a four-game winning streak snapped, is seeded third and opens tournament play Thursday (2/24) at 8:00 p.m. versus sixth-seeded Bridgewater College. All tournament games will be held at the Salem Civic Center.

Ygarza came off the bench and knocked down eight-of-12 shots from the floor. She helped the Royals own a commanding 40-14 edge in interior scoring. With the game tied at 32-32 early in the second half, the sophomore made back-to-back buckets in a decisive 7-0 Royals' run. Eastern Mennonite shot 50 percent from the floor and Kayla Baltimore scored all nine of her points in the second half, which helped the Royals pull away for their third straight win.

Alisa Brown scored 11 points and Kala Yoders had 10 for Eastern Mennonite. Yoders and Baltimore both grabbed a game-high eight rebounds and Baltimore dished out a game-best seven assists.

Senior Jazlyn Gibbs led the Quakers with 18 points in her final regular-season home game. Brittany Drew added 12 with four three-pointers and Gabby Oglesby totaled seven points, seven rebounds and three blocks.
