Taylor Young scored 14 points and the No. 14-ranked Tommies (24-1 overall, 22-0 MIAC) shot 58 percent from the field in Saturday's 64-51 win over St. Mary's in MIAC women's basketball play at UST's Schoenecker Arena.
The Tommies ran their winning streak to 24 and became just the fifth conference women's team to finish 20-0 or 22-0 on the regular season. UST is 11-0 at home this season and hasn't lost since Nov. 16 at nationally-ranked UW-Stevens Point in its season opener.
UST build a 32-24 halftime lead and lead by as many as 16 in the second half. The Toms had a 34-8 advantage in bench points.
Jamie Stefely had a game-high 21 points for the Cardinals (13-12, 13-9).
