Brooklyn would lead the rest of the way and eventually take a double-digit lead into the halftime break. The Bloodhounds scoring drought would continue into the second half, as the Bulldogs scored the first seven points of the stanza to go up 38-17, with 18:09 remaining before the final buzzer. A jumper from Donovan at the 5:55 mark would give BC its largest lead of the game, 58-31; as the Bulldogs would go on to cruise their 59-41 victory.

For the game, Brooklyn shot 32.8% (22-67) from the field and 28.6% (6-21) from downtown. The Bulldogs struggled from the line converting just 45.0% (9-20) from the charity stripe.
