MADISON, Wis. – Some nights a solid 35 minutes of basketball might earn a win, but other nights those other five minutes could be the difference between a win or a loss. Leading 42-38 with just more than seven minutes to go, a Mariah Hill jump shot sparked a 9-0 Eagle run. Hill hit a three-point basket and Alison Tobin followed with a layup to give the Eagles (6-11, 5-6 NAC) their largest lead of the game, 51-38 with 4:21 remaining. However, that was the final Eagle field goal until Tobin made a layup as the horn sounded at the end of over time.

Concordia Wisconsin's Brittany Zietlow started their comeback with a jump shot with 3:57 to go. Brittney Toles made it a one possession game at 51-48 when she hit a jumper with more than one minute left. Tiffany Hendrickson cut the deficit to one with 41 seconds left, and then after a pair of Eagle free throws, Hendrickson tied the contest when she hit her only three-point basket of the game with 22 seconds left. Melanie Walker's shot with three seconds left came up short and the game went to overtime.

Zietlow gave the Falcons (12-6, 12-2 NAC) the early lead in overtime with a layup one minute in. The Falcons then shot free throws the rest of the extra session and earned a 62-53 lead with under 10 seconds to go. Tobin collected an offensive rebound and made the Eagles first basket since the 4:21 mark of the second half to make the final score 62-55.
