The sixth-ranked Tigers led wire-to-wire against visiting Oberlin College en route to a 78-33 North Coast Athletic Conference victory. DePauw improved to 15-1 overall and 8-0 in the NCAC with its 14th straight win and its 67 consecutive home conference victory. The Yeowomen dropped to 4-13 overall and 1-7 in the conference.

The Tiger squad set the tone early and jumped out to a 20-3 lead in the game's first five minutes. Ali Ross hit two early threes and Ellie Pearson added five points and three rebounds during the span. Oberlin responded with a 6-0 run but the Tigers answered with the next 11 points capped by another Ross three pointer making it 31-9 with 9:39 left in the half.

DePauw led 42-18 at the break after shooting shooting 48.5 percent from the field and knocking down 7-of-9 three-pointers.

The Tigers picked up where they left off in the second half, extending their lead to 31 just five minutes into the half. After a 6-0 Oberlin was as close as 25, but DePauw scored 15 straight and sealed the win.

In all, 14 Tigers scored led by Ross with 14 points including 4-of-5 shooting from three-point range. Katie Aldrich added 10 points and shared the rebounding lead with Savannah Trees as each grabbed five. Kate Walker dished out a game-high seven assists as DePauw totaled 27 assists on its 29 field goals. Ellie Pearson blocked a pair of shots in the win.

Allison Gannon led Oberlin with a game-high 16 points Kelly Warlich added 11. Gannon also brought down eight rebounds and blocked two shots, while Christina Marquette dished out three assists in the loss.

The Tigers shot 46.8 percent for the game and knocked down 10-of-18 three-pointers, while Oberlin shot just 24.1 percent from the floor. DePauw also held a 31-27 edge on the boards and committed just nine turnovers to Oberlin's 32.

DePauw returns to action on Wednesday, January 25, when it travels to Springfield, Ohio, for a 6 p.m. contest against Wittenberg Oberlin hosts Denison on Wednesday.
