Hartford, Conn. – Senior tri-captain guard Kaitlin Ciarleglio (Waterbury, Conn.) had 18 points and four assists to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 67-42 win over the visiting Hamitlon College Continentals in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) women's basketball action this afternoon on Ogrodnik Court at Oosting Gymnasium. Trinity improves to 6-7 overall and 1-2 in the NESCAC while snapping a three-game losing streak. Hamilton fall to 5-9 overall and 0-4 in the league with fifth setback in a row.
Trinity led from wire to wire as junior guard Carly Napier (Pittsford, N.Y.) drained a three less than a minute into the game, and back-to-back long balls by Ciarleglio and sophomore guard Abby Hancock (Casco, Maine) gave the Bantams a 9-2 lead less than four minutes into the contest.
