CHESTNUT HILL, MASS. – Behind the program's second 30-point-plus individual scoring effort of the season, Norwich University picked up a Great Northeast Athletic Conference road win Jan. 10.

NU (6-7 overall, 1-1 GNAC) topped Pine Manor 74-66 due to freshman Aliah Curry's (Windsor, Mass.) 36-point game. She hit 11 field goals which included five three-pointers, dished out three assists, picked up a steal and grabbed seven rebounds. Due to her output, Curry also moved into the team's scoring leader spot, as she bolstered her points-per-game to 19.

After a back-and-forth first half which saw both sides hold the lead, the Maroon and Gold used a run midway through the second stanza to take the advantage for good. Pine Manor (5-5, 0-2 GNAC) led 50-47 at the 12:05 mark, but the Cadets went on a 22-6 roll from that point.

Freshman guard Kelsey Lotti (South Yarmouth, Mass.) and senior forward Jocelyn Fasulo (Contoocock, N.H.) both narrowly missed double figures. Lotti finished with nine points and five boards, while Fasulo added eight points, seven rebounds and two blocked shots.

Coach Mark Zacher's team returns to conference play Saturday, Jan. 14, with a 1 p.m. tipoff at St. Joseph's College of Maine.

NOTES – Senior guard Karissa Doyon (Beecher Falls, Vt.) has the other 30-point-plus game for the Cadets this season. She had 35 against UMaine-Fort Kent in the Ed Hockenbury Classic opener in early December. … Curry's effort marked just the third such individual scoring finish for Norwich since the 2004-05 campaign.
