BUFFALO, NY - The Medaille College women's basketball team made it four straight victories as they stifled the Franciscan offense in the second half en route to a (53-41) win in AMCC play.  The Lady Mavs held the Barons to (15) points in the second half as they cruised to victory.

On a very tough shooting day for Medaille it would be Tanisha Travis that would lead the way, netting a team high (15) points and grabbing a game high (12) boards for her second straight double/double and her fifth of the season.

Freshman Morgan Howe continued to show growth as she tallied eight points and grabbed eight boards.  Despite an off night from the field, Joelle Pollak chipped in with (4) assists, (4) rebounds and a pair of blocks to go along with (7) points. While Alicia Montalvo also blocked a pair of shots and connected on her only shot attempt of the day, finishing with two points.

The Lady Mavs dominated the lane in the win, outscoring the Lady Barons (32-12) in the paint.  The Medaille reserves also outscored their counterparts (14-2) one day after receiving just one point off the bench.

The win pushes Medaille to (5-3) overall and (3-1) in AMCC play.  They will take a break for the holidays before returning home to host Manchester College on Tuesday, December 27th for a 7:00pm non-conference game.
