Wenham, Mass. - Ashley Vitale (Wilmington, Mass.) scored a game-high 19 points to lead Endicott to a 52-36 victory over Gordon on Saturday afternoon in a The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) clash inside the Bennett Center.

The victory kept the visiting Gulls undefeated in the TCCC at 7-0 and moved their overall record to 13-4.  Gordon dropped to 2-17 overall and is 1-6 in league play.

Trailing 5-2 early, Endicott put together an 11-1 run to take command of the game, aided by a jumper and 3-pointer from senior guard Ashley Wright (Merrimack, N.H.).  Wright finished with eight points and three steals in 26 minutes of action.

The Gulls retained the lead the rest of the half and took a 27-15 lead into the break.

In the second half the Gulls began to pull away, and opened up their widest lead at 46-26 with 9:19 left.

Senior guard Sara Schwanke (Duxbury, Mass.) helped Gordon trim the lead, but the Scots were unable to get the deficit into single figures.

Vitale added a team-high six rebounds in the win, the eighth straight for the Gulls.  Endicott also picked up its seventh straight win over the Fighting Scots, dating back to Feb. 24, 2005.

Gordon's Schwanke finished with a team-high 13 points along with seven rebounds, five steals, and five assists.

Kayla Pacheco (Sutton, Mass.) joined Schwanke in double figures with 10 points, while Lauren Kranyak drilled two 3-pointers to finish with six points.

Endicott held a 31-24 advantage on the boards and limited Gordon to 33% shooting.  Both teams struggled to take care of the ball as Gordon made 21 turnovers and Endicott had 19.
