MEDIA, PA - After shooting a season-low mark of 22 percent during their opening game of the semester against Lancaster Bible College on Tuesday, the Crimson Eagles entered Thursday's affair with Penn State Brandywine with aspirations to shake off the unwanted cobwebs that plagued the group against the Chargers.

But unfortunately, the rust once again came to surface Thursday evening.

PBU shot just 28.3 percent from the floor for the contest during a 70-53 loss to the Nittany Lions in a game that saw the visitors net more turnovers (26) than field goals (17). But following a shaky opening period that saw the Crimson Eagles give the ball away 19 times while scoring just 17 points, the squad finally solved Penn State's diamond press and regrouped during the second stanza, outplaying their counterpart to the tune of 36-34 over the final 20 minutes.

Despite the final result, the Crimson Eagles proved to be the enforcer on the interior, mustering up 19 offensive rebounds for the game while outboarding Penn State by 10 snags overall. However, the host group combated their lack of rebounding efficiency by knocking down 49.1 percent of their field goal attempts including a steady diet of points coming from five feet and in.

Rookie forward Dani Bradley-Wilson once again led the charge for the Crimson Eagles, punishing the Nittany Lion front line for 16 points and 16 boards in 36 minutes of action. Second year forward Hannah McCardle added 10 points and three steals in the losing effort. Penn State's Sarah DeBerardinis netted a game high 21 points in just 20 minutes of play, finishing nine for 13 from the field.

The Crimson Eagles will get back into action on Monday during a home date with Centenary College. Game time is 6:00 pm.
