LEXINGTON, Ky. - Holly Milburn poured in a game-high 21 points Wednesday and Olivia Akridge added 16 to lead Transylvania to its fourth straight victory, an 83-55 win over Mt. St. Joseph in Heartland College women's basketball action.

Transy is 10-4, 5-2 HCAC, while the Lions drop to 3-10, 3-4 in league play.
Transy never trailed in the game, building leads of as much as 17 points in the first half and 28 in the final minutes of the contest. Akridge improved her career scoring total to 985 points while Milburn, who also had seven rebounds and three assists, now stands at 967. Akridge also led the team in assists with four.
The Pioneers shot 48 percent from the field in the first half, 52 percent in the second period, and finished at an even 50 percent for the game. The Lions were just two of 21 from three-point range and hit 33.3 percent (20 of 60) overall.
Angel Lucas tied her season high with 12 points, 10 in the first half, while Shayla Black added 12 points, two rebounds and two assists. Mt. St. Joseph placed three players in double digits, led by reserve Katie Jo Collins, who had 15 points.
Transy was five of 10 from three-point range and made 22 of 26 free throws while Mt. St. Joseph was 13 of 17 from the line. The Pioneers also had a 38-30 edge on the boards.
The Pioneers are back in action on Saturday, hosting Manchester at 1 p.m. in the Beck Center.
