Knueppel collects 100th career coaching victory

MILWAUKEE-- Seventh-year head coach Klay Knueppel collected his 100th career coaching victory Monday, December 20 as the Wisconsin Lutheran College women's basketball team defeated Marian University 82-47 at the Recreation Complex.

Knueppel, the third head coach in Wisconsin Lutheran's 28-year history of women's basketball, currently owns an overall collegiate coaching record of 100-69. The fastest to reach the milestone in school history, Knueppel has guided the Warriors to at least 15 wins each of the past four seasons.

Wisconsin Lutheran (8-1, 4-0 NAC), which is receiving votes in both the D3hoops.com and USA Today ESPN Division III Top 25 Polls, returns to action Thursday, January 6 when it hosts Mount Mary College in a 7 p.m. non-conference game at the Recreation Complex.
