GREENSBURG, PA- Frostburg State's Jackie Kimmel connected on a 3-pointer with 2.7 seconds remaining in the game lifting the Bobcats to a 63-63 victory over Pitt-Greensburg Saturday afternoon in Chambers Hall.  UPG falls to 1-9 overall on the season and are off until they travel to Philadelphia University on December 28th.

With Pitt-Greensburg leading by two, 62-60 with 15 seconds to play in regulation Ali Bilak (Wall, PA/East Allegheny) missed the front end of a one and one.  Frostburg State grabbed the rebound and raced down the floor looking for the tie.  An errant pass deflected by Pitt-Greensburg's Brooke Pioli (Johnstown, PA/Bishop McCort) rolled right to a wide open Jackie Kimmel who nailed a 3-pointer with 2.7 seconds on the clock.  UPG was unable to get a last second desperation shot off.

Brooke Pioli scored a game high and career 18 points on 7-8 shooting from the floor including 4-5 from behind the arc.  Kayla Watson (Belle Vernon, PA/Belle Vernon) added 12 points, starting her first game of the season while Ali Bilak contributed 12 points and 5 assists.

Pitt-Greensburg led from the 14:29 mark of the first half and took a 29-21 lead into the halftime break.  Both teams struggled from the floor in the first stanza; Frostburg shot just 30% from the floor while UPG was just 1-10 from behind the arc.

UPG extended their lead to 10, 33-23 with 18:16 left on a Pioli bucket but Frostburg State outscored Pitt-Greensburg 16-6 over the next five minutes and tied the game 39-39 on a Mercedes White jumper.

The last 13 minutes of the contest featured four ties and seven lead changes.  Bilak broke a 2:22 scoring drought with an offensive rebound and put back with 1:15 to play giving UPG a 62-60 advantage.  The score would remain the same until the final seconds when Kimmel connected on the game wining shot.

Casey Stanton (Mechanicsburg, PA/Cumberland Valley) tied a career high with 17 rebounds, 14 of which came on the defensive end.  She also added eight points after sitting out an extended portion of the game because of foul trouble.
