Junior center Carol Cayo scored a game-high 23 points and had nine rebounds but the Raiders fell to Dominican 56-49 Thursday night in River Forest, Ill. Cayo was 9-10 from the free throw line and grabbed six offensive rebounds.

Six other MSOE players had at least four points. A lay-up by Cayo tied the game at 45 with 3:17 left but the Raiders could not gain the lead as the Stars pulled away late to get the victory.

MSOE (3-3, 2-2 NAC) hosts Marian Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Kern Center for another NAC game.
