BW Men’s Basketball Falls to Ohio Northern in OAC Double Overtime Thriller

ADA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's basketball team fell to Ohio Northern University in an Ohio Athletic Conference matchup in double overtime by a final score of 85-82 in the ONU Sports Center.

BW Leaders (7-11, 3-8 OAC)

  • Sophomore guard Titus Baskerville IV (Stow / Stow-Munroe Falls) recorded a double-double with 21 points and a team-high 12 assists
  • Junior All-OAC guard Ray Ellington (Westlake) scored a team-high 26 points while notching eight rebounds and two blocks
  • Sophomore forward AJ Pestello (Cuyahoga Falls / Stow-Munroe Falls) put up 19 points with seven rebounds, two blocks, one assist and one steal

Ohio Northern Leaders (10-8, 4-7 OAC)

  • Sophomore guard Jadi Cunningham Jr. recorded a double-double with 18 points, 11 rebounds, six assists and four steals
  • Junior guard Will Miller notched 26 points with two rebounds, one assist and one steal

First Half

  • ONU outscored BW 34-32
  • The Polar Bears won the three-pointer battle by a 3-2 margin
  • ONU provided the most assists with nine

Second Half

  • The Brown and Gold outscored the Polar Bears 32-30
  • BW made the most assists with six
  • ONU made the most three-pointers with three total

  • The Yellow Jackets tied the Polar Bears at 8-8 to head to double overtime
