BW Men's Basketball Drops Non-Conference Contest to Pitt-Greensburg (Pa.)

BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's basketball team fell to University of Pittsburgh (Pa.) at Greensburg in a non-conference matchup by a final score of 93-85 in the Ursprung Gymnasium inside of the Lou Higgins Center.

BW Leaders (5-5, 1-2 OAC)

  • Junior All-Ohio Athletic Conference guard Ray Ellington (Westlake) dominated for the Brown and Gold with 22 points, 11 rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal
  • Junior guard Brayden Hamilton (Brunswick) tallied 15 points while notching one assist and one steal

Pitt-Greensburg Leaders (6-6)

  • Junior guard Jackson Byer led the way with 31 points, nine rebounds, three steals and two assists
  • Sophomore forward Trent Rozich tallied 20 points with 10 rebounds and three assists

First Half

  • The Bobcats outscored the Yellow Jackets 41-31
  • BW had the most three-pointers with four total
  • Pitt-Greensburg provided the most assists with eight

Second Half

  • The Yellow Jackets outscored Pitt-Greensburg 54-52
  • BW made the most assists with seven
  • The Brown and Gold won the three-pointer battle by a 4-3 margin
