No. 24 USJ Men's Basketball Tops Geneva in NCAA Tournament First Round, 97-83

ASHLAND, Va. – Behind a career-high 29 points from senior forward Jalen Samuels (Franklin, Mass.), the nationally-ranked No. 24 University of Saint Joseph (USJ) men's basketball team topped the Geneva College Golden Tornadoes, 97-83, in the NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Tournament First Round Friday evening inside Crenshaw Gym on the campus of Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Va. With the victory, the Blue Jays have won 17-straight games, improved to 25-4 overall, and advanced to the NCAA Tournament Second Round where they will take on the host No. 4 Randolph-Macon Yellowjackets on Saturday, March 2 at 7:30 p.m.
