MBB: Bosse's big game lifts Panthers over VTSU Johnson

 

JOHNSON, Vt. – The Plymouth State University men's basketball team defeated the Vermont State University (VTSU) Johnson Badgers in a non-conference game, 60-52, in Carter Gymnasium on Wednesday night.

A second half run put the Panthers out ahead in what was otherwise a back-and-forth contest. Senior Kyler Bosse (Manchester, N.H.) led all scorers with 26 points and grabbed six rebounds, while sophomore Torran Boswoth (Springfield, Mass.) added nine points of his own. Junior Elijah Swanson (Meredith, N.H.) was a perfect 4-of-4 from the floor, scoring eight points in the Panthers' victory.

Bosse recorded his 18th 20-point game of his career on his quest to reach the 1,000-career points threshold this season.

Plymouth State starts the season 1-0, while the Badgers fall to 0-1.
